AmirAli Bigleri
AmirAli is a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a double major in Biological Sciences and Psychology. In 2024, he joined the Elahi Lab as an undergraduate researcher, where he is currently studying the role of Galectins in modulating CD71+ erythroid cells. His research focuses on understanding how these proteins influence these cells influence immune responses and their potential implications for disease outcomes. AmirAli is passionate about leveraging biotechnology to tackle critical medical challenges and plans to continue his research in graduate studies. He is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the lab’s work and gain hands-on experience in immunology research.
